Amber Privett is a faithful follower of Christ and a licensed clinical social worker. In her work she helps abuse survivors navigate their stories and find healing. She owns Amber Privett Counseling and serves clients all over the state of Florida. Throughout her career, she has played a pivotal role in numerous child abuse prevention initiatives, anti-trafficking efforts, and family preservation. She is a BCM graduate and serves on the advisory council for Safe Families for Children’s Florida and Tampa efforts. She currently calls Tampa, Florida home.
While Amber desires to create a safer world for the most vulnerable among us, she most ardently desires that the church be a space where abuse survivors can experience the comfort, love, and peace of God. This has led her to her work as both a consultant and a trainer for local churches. Several churches utilize her services when they a knowledgeable professional experienced in abuse, mental health, and trauma-related topics.
