Florida Baptist Convention Child & Youth Protection Training

Event Series Event Series (See All)

November 18 @ 2:30 pm 4:00 pm America/New York

This event has been rescheduled due to the anticipated impacts of Hurricane Milton on the state of Florida. It is no longer taking place on Oct. 10 and has been rescheduled for Nov. 18.

Join us to learn more about abuse prevention and child & youth protection. The biblical truth that every person is created in the image of God informs our commitment to child protection. As a matter of Great Commission significance and biblical stewardship, child protection should be of the utmost importance to church and ministry leaders. It is our goal to come alongside Christian ministries in enacting effective child protection programs so that they may foster safe environments for children and youth in their care to hear the gospel and grow in their knowledge of Christ.

At this child protection workshop you will learn the basics of child protection, tap into helpful resources and find out how ECAP can come alongside your ministry to help you protect the least of these.

Objectives:

  • Raise awareness for the importance of abuse prevention and child protection
  • Provide ministry leaders with resources to assist them in prevention
  • Connect with like-minded churches and ministries that value child safety

This event is $20 for ECAP Members and $30 for non-members.
