Sexual harassment is disappointingly present in Christian ministry settings—and ministry leaders cannot afford to ignore it.

This talk examines what data reveals about the prevalence and under-reporting of sexual harassment in churches and parachurch organizations, what Scripture calls us to do in response, and how secular law frames organizational liability. Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how sexual harassment is legally defined, what litigation and PR risks ministries face, and what practical steps—including strong policies, clear reporting mechanisms, and a culture of accountability—can protect both people and organizations. Grounded in both biblical values and legal realities, this session equips ministry leaders to address harassment not merely as a compliance issue, but as a matter of justice and care for those made in the image of God.
