SUMMARY:Safeguarding Cohort for Educators
DESCRIPTION:Our new Safeguards Cohort equips leaders of children like parents\, Christian educators\, and other caregivers to thoughtfully develop ways to create safer cultures and more discerning children while preserving innocence\, building wisdom\, and fostering trust within their communities.\n\nThrough collaborative learning\, guided discussion\, practical resources\, and biblically grounded frameworks\, participants will explore the unique role education plays in abuse prevention and child discipleship. The cohort is designed to help leaders thoughtfully consider how age-appropriate safeguarding instruction can equip children with discernment\, voice\, confidence\, and practical safety understanding in ways that are developmentally appropriate and rooted in a distinctly Christian worldview. Participants will engage with a national network of likeminded peers to explore how we can intentionally teach\, model\, and reinforce principles of safety\, wisdom\, and protection so that children are both nurtured and prepared to flourish within healthy Christian communities.

DESCRIPTION:Policies\, screening\, and volunteer training are increasingly familiar components of ministry safeguarding. Equipping parents and providing age-appropriate abuse prevention education for children can be harder to translate into practice. Leaders may understand why these indicators matter while still asking: What should we teach? How should we communicate it? How do we gain parent and leadership support? Where can we begin if our culture is not yet ready for a comprehensive program?
